RhyPiBoMo Homework

Our rhyming assignment for the day, as part of RhyPiBoMo, was to write a poem about April Fool's day. Here is what I came up with:

Someone's knocking on my door

I'm sure I've seen this fool before

He speaks of millions? An untied shoe?

A chalked eraser? What else is new?

This fool is extra cruel this year

He just announced that Spring is here

Hopefully the sunny, warmish weather we're enjoying today is not just a teaser!
